AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) is a college and career readiness program designed to help students develop the skills they need to be successful in rigorous academic classes and beyond. AVID focuses on organization, critical thinking, collaboration, note-taking, goal setting, and strong study habits. Students learn how to take ownership of their learning, ask thoughtful questions, and prepare for future opportunities in high school, college, and their chosen careers. Through structured support and high expectations, AVID empowers students to believe in their potential and work confidently toward their goals.
