All students need digital citizenship skills to participate fully in their communities. Century will use lessons from Common Sense Media
to teach our kids about their digital footprint, cyberbullying, online privacy, and safe communication.
It is important for parents to be proactive and familiar with the lessons students are learning at school. How do I start?
Great question. Discuss the topics outlined with your child and the rules you have at home about safe, responsible technology use.

Century Parents –
We are in the process of completing a series of fun, interactive, and informative Digital Citizenship lessons in each grade level (K-6). These lessons teach age appropriate digital/media safety. Attached is a link to a “Family Media Agreement.” This link, Family Media Agreement, is a resource to start conversations regarding digital/media safety within the home. This is an optional activity, and not required to be returned. We also have additional resources and tips under the resources tab on our school’s website (https://century.cusd.com/DigitalCitizenship.aspx). If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact the school office.
